Advanced scenario. Synthetic examples only. Separate inputs from the quick calculator above; nothing is uploaded or saved.

Assumptions and calculation notes

Use sales excluding tax and after discounts. Contribution margin is after all variable costs. Operating result excludes financing, tax, depreciation and opening investment recovery. These scenarios do not predict demand.

How this is calculated

Use the sales margin remaining after variable costs, including ingredients and other sales-linked charges. It must cover fixed costs. The estimate excludes setup-cost recovery and does not forecast demand.

Break-even sales = fixed costs / contribution margin rate. Bills per day = break-even sales / operating days / average bill, rounded up.

Scenario assumptions

There is no location verdict or universal payback target here. Review demand, all costs and cash flow separately.

Illustrative scenarios, not industry standards.

How each tool works & FAQ

Are bills the same as customers?

No. One bill can cover several customers. This calculator uses average value per bill.

Does break-even recover my opening investment?

No. It covers operating fixed costs under the entered assumptions. Investment payback needs a separate net-cash-flow model.
